I changed to eco friendly, green products approx 1 year ago. I have noticed the extra expense in the grocery bill. So over the past few months I have been on a ‘mission’ to make my own household cleaning products. This has proven more difficult and time consuming than I originally thought. Green Works looks like a great product and at an affordable price. I will definitely be purchasing this product when I see it in the supermarket.

I am very keen to switch to more eco-friendly cleaning products because I’m tired of getting nausea and headaches from using chemical laden products. Convincing the husband about the merits of eco friendly products is like banging my head against a brick wall - he is hung up on the pricing difference. It will be great to have Greenworks on the shelves especially if it is going to be priced reasonbly.

We are tertiary students who also have skin and allergy issues. Our grocery budget is stretched at the best of times, and we try our best to avoid the cheap chemical cleaners. We would love to try the Green Products as they sound amazing, and affoedable too!!

When I found out how much my mother was spending on cleaning products around our house, I started to use different methods of cleaning. Unfortunately, it appears that plain water isnt a good floor cleaner, my handsoap doesnt wash dishes, and funnily enough, water and pet shampoo doesnt clean my carpet. Mum just shook her head and told me to use the normal cleaners. My mother and I are on a restricted benefit, so having things like Mr Muscle and dishwashing soap can be difficult to have on hand. I’ve always been into eco-friendly things, even if mum says its a waste of time. Getting these cleaning products would be really handy, and I’d feel better about washing it away as it wouldnt be polluting our water systems.

i feel some of the green products on supermaarket shelfs are very expensive.
    It does not encourage change.
i liked Jackie Gees comment on makeing her own cleaning products.
we have lost the art of looking after ourselves.

Poss you could display some easy reipes for home cleaning on your site?

I have been using green cleaning products in my home for around 15 years. Lately had let things slip a bit and tended to buy the heaper super market cleaners but noticed that my famikly started gettting rashes and not feeling at all well. Since the birth of my grand daughter I have realized how important it is to use green products. We have to do this for future generations is they are to have any chance of staying healthy.

I would love to try the green works range. We try to be eco-friendly but it is expensive and can be timeconsuming, so any products that are affordable, effective, accessible and eco-friendly are very welcome in our housefold.
    Cheers

I would love this gift as my 2 year old is battling with asthma and eczema and no matter what we try we do not seem to be able to get her back on track. It has finally occurred to me that the cleaning products we use could be contributing to the latest bout. I also have a 4 year old and a 3month old and a husband with bad asthma so anything that would benefit their health is worth pursuing.

Got something to say?
